Ace is a fantastic Trail Horse. In 2008 - He and Jerry were 3rd in the Senior Division (Jerry, not Ace) in the Rocky Mountain Rated Trail Program. In 2009 - Ace was HighPoint overall in the first rated trail ride of the season - scoring 23 out of a possible 25 points. Ace is sure-footed and confident on the trails. He will cross just about anything you put in front of him. Ride him with a loose rein and let him pick his own way up - after-all, he climbs like a Squirrel!

"Ace" is not only handsome, he has the breeding to back him up! He has Dock, Choco Dock, Maple's Squirrel, Johnson's Toby, and Kilburn's Chocolate Sundown in his background. Ace is one of the very few stallions in the Maple's Squirrel line. He has excellent conformation and a naturally smooth 4-beat gait. He has an exemplary disposition and the build of a true Rocky Mountain horse! Ace is Registered and Certified to breed with the RMHA. He is a black stallion with NO RED GENE! Ace is great on the trails - we ride him with all kinds of horses, even mares that are in season and he is very well behaved. Ace is also very intelligent - he learned to neck-rein in one afternoon! He does well in the Western Pleasure classes and Trail Obstacle classes. Ace is an exemplary stallion - he displays excellent ground manners, loads himself into the trailer and backs out quietly.
Ace's conformation, disposition, gait, versatility, and intelligence are a wonderful testament to the Rocky Mountain breed.
